Presentation time will be 15 minutes including discussion. Official language is Japanese or English.
FMA40 will be held in a hybrid style (On-site and Online) using the web meeting tool Zoom. All presenters are required to use Zoom for their presentations, even if they are participating on-site. Please read the following guidelines for presenters and audiences.

Best Young Researcher Presentation Awards
During the four days of technical sessions, one or some excellent young researchers (under 42 years of age) will be selected by the Award Committee to receive the Awards based on his/her presentation showing ability to conduct and present their contributions to the ferroelectric community. Please fill in your application for the Award. Application requirements are follows;
- Researcher 42 years of age or under on 1st April 2023
- Presenter of Paper
- First Author or Corresponding Author
- Submission of Manuscript to JJAP Special Issue by the deadline
Best Student Presentation Awards
We have established presentation awards for students. The selection will be made within the framework of the Best Young Researcher Presentation Awards (for those under 42 years of age). The award will be given to the top-ranked student who meets the following requirements.
- Student member of the Dielectric Society of Japan
- Presenter of Paper
- First Author
- Submission of Manuscript to JJAP Special Issue by the deadline
