講師による概要説明：

We present the class of discrete latent variable models and show how models in this class are suitable to analyze social science data accounting for unobserved heterogeneity, errors, and systematic misclassification. We present models tailored for cross-sectional, longitudinal, compositional, and network data, reviewing their parameterization and estimation procedures. We show and discuss the results of the applications.
